We believe pregnant women need a home, not a shelter.
Thanks to an all-volunteer staff, and generous donors, Mothers are provided a private room and offered an array of social services in an effort to drive healthy outcomes for both mother and child.
Founded in 1984, the Little Flower Home is a lay Catholic 501(c)(3) non-profit charity, which does not discriminate based on religion, age, origin, etc. Through our work, we defend the sanctity of human life by helping homeless pregnant women when they are most in need. Since our founding in 1984, we have welcomed over 800 guests through the Little Flower Home.
We hope to welcome many more in the future.
Our Mission
The mission of the Little Flower Home is to provide safe and temporary residences for homeless pregnant mothers and their babies and to assist and support them in securing a permanent living arrangement. All are welcome. We do not discriminate based on a woman's age, race, or religion.
Our Goals
Our goal is to provide pregnant women and their babies a confidential and safe place to stay. We offer a private room at no cost, in shared homes and shared apartments across Rhode Island
We do not offer, recommend or refer for abortions or abortifacients, but are committed to offering accurate information about abortion procedures and risks.
